Before Kangana Ranaut, John Abraham Had Called Karan Johar 'Clannish' And He Wasn't Offended
Did you know before Kangana Ranaut, John Abraham had called out Karan Johar and accused him of being clannish? Did you know Karan Johar never thought that John Abraham would make it big in Bollywood? He had thus offered him a very small role of Robbie in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
She went to his show and literally caused a furore by accusing him of being a "flagbearer of nepotism". It had become a national topic of debate. The discussions around it haven't ended yet. The N-word continues to haunt Bollywood.

Here's what people are saying!
"Kjo seems whipped for John! He took it humourously when John called him clannish rather than being offended?? Need to watch this episode . John gave fab answers!"
"We all know kjo has biggest crush on john Abraham"
"Good for calling that out. The Khan question is so stupid. The reason why they are big is because people keep pushing the narrative."
Did you know Karan Johar never thought that John Abraham would make it big in Bollywood? He had thus offered him a very small role of Robbie in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
John had once said, "I used to come to Karan for a lot of advice, then Karan said ¡®I have got a great role for you in K3G which I want to offer you, of Robbie. I was looking out for Robbie in the whole movie, ¡®where¡¯s Robbie, where¡¯s Robbie,¡¯ I couldn¡¯t see Robbie."
That is when KJo apologised to him and said, "Well done, and I am sorry about that. I really never thought you would reach this stage."
Not just John, Karan Johar at first thought that Ranveer Singh shouldn't be in movies because he doesn't look like a star.
Anurag's casting for Bombay Velvet was influenced by people who told him not to cast Ranveer in the role bcuz he won't get the money to make the film. Ironically those same people are working with Ranveer today. #IYKWIM pic.twitter.com/HYze4GFyCV

No points for guessing, he was absolutely wrong about it.
"When I saw Ranveer Singh a decade ago, I was like 'he doesn't look like a movie star at all, he should not be in the movies'. But when I saw his performance, I was like, 'this boy is a movie star'. He can act. It's the age of the actor, it's the death of the superstar, I believe," Johar had said in 2019.
In fact, he rejected him for Bombay Velvet as his star value wasn't high. "I was not rejected for Bombay Velvet. I was unceremoniously dropped because at the time, I couldn't justify the budget. My star value wasn't as high. But, things have changed," Ranveer Singh had said.
