Actress Akanksha Dubey popularly known as Bhojpuri's dream girl dies by suicide at Varanasi's Somendra hotel. She was 25!

Fondly known as the Bhojpuri industry¡¯s dreamgirl, Akanksha Dubey died by suicide at the age of 25. The actress was found dead at Sarnath¡¯s Somendra hotel where she was shooting for her upcoming film Nayak. Her body has been taken for postmortem and the investigation is underway.

The news comes hours after Akanksha went live on Instagram and cried inconsolably for unknown reasons.
A senior police officer said, "The prima facie report suggests it might be a case of suicide. But we have to wait for the post-mortem report to be sure of the cause of the death.¡± Akanksha has been a part of some successful projects and has starred opposite Bhojpuri superstars like Khesari Lal Yadav, Pawan Singh, Samar Singh and Pradeep Pandey.

This tragic news comes on the same day when her most-anticipated song Ye Aara Kabhi Hara Nahi opposite Pawan Singh releases. The song which is garnering a lot of reasons mostly because of her death features Akanksha in her sensuous avatar dancing to the quirky beats of Priyanshu Singh and the voice of Shilpi Raj.
Other than films and music videos, Akanksha also enjoyed a massive fan following on her social media handles.
Just a few hours before allegedly taking her life, Akanksha shared a dancing video on her Instagram. In the now-viral reel, Dubey can be seen flaunting her mesmerising belly dancing skills and grooving to the Bhojpuri song Hilore Mare. For the mirror video, Dubey sported a black crop top with blue jeans.

Dubey hailed from Vindhyachal, Mirzapur and later moved to Mumbai with her family. While her parents wanted Akanksha to become an IPS officer, she chose to pursue acting. With a roaring debut with Meri Jung Mera Faisla, Akanksha went on to star in films like Mujhse Shadi Karogi (Bhojpuri), Veeron Ke Veer, Fighter King, Kasam Paida Karne KI 2 and more.

On the personal front, Akanksha recently made her relationship with actor Samar Singh official. She confirmed dating her co-star through a mushy post she shared on this year¡¯s Valentine's Day 2023. Samar on the other hand condoled the demise of his partner via an Instagram post where he wrote, ¡®Speechless¡¯ in Hindi.
