A Dig At Priyanka? Deepika Padukone's Comment On Not Wanting To Moving Abroad Goes Viral
Recently, an excerpt from Deepika's interview emerged on Reddit, reigniting discussions about her relationship with Priyanka.
Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra stand as beloved actresses in the Bollywood industry. These divas consistently captivate their fans with their exceptional acting prowess and captivating personalities. For those who may not be aware, Deepika and Priyanka are contemporaries, both commanding enormous followings. While both have secured their positions in Bollywood, it's worth noting that Priyanka has also ventured into Hollywood, attaining global recognition for her talents.
Priyanka made her Hollywood debut with 'Quantico' in '2015', and Deepika with 'XXX- Return of Xander Cage' in 2017. Both actors have been compared to each other many times.
Recently, an excerpt from Deepika's interview emerged on Reddit, reigniting discussions about their relationship.
"I have global ambitions, but much of it is being beyond a movie star. There is a lot I want to do globally as an individual. I find it fascinating and strange at the same time to think that we were almost apologetic about who we are and where we came from. We have always overcompensated because of this," she said.
"I don¡¯t feel the need to move to another country or speak the way they speak in order to be accepted. Has the journey taken longer? Yes. But I sleep better knowing I am in my culture and I did it on my own terms," she added.

Isme Priyanka beech mein kaha aagayi??? Just to garner hate for Deepika some here just assume things,' said another user.

'How is this a dig?
Like seriously, how?
If you look at her Time interview and Cannes interviews, she's talked a lot about Indian content having way more potential than the west gave it credit for. I think this part is in tandem with this.
And Priyanka has also never been unapologetic about coming from India.
Both have different approaches to their careers at this point and nothing's wrong with anyone's approach,' said one more user.
