Anushka Sharma applauds Delhi man who was called Pagal by a man for protecting an injured stray dog. Pagal toh vo hain jo insaniyat nahi samjhein. Aap toh, she wrote.
Real-life heroes exist among us, but we often fail to recognize them. What's worse is that we mock them when we should rather be applauding them.
A man in Delhi who was trying to protect a stray dog was called Pagal for protecting and taking care of an injured stray dog.
However, the man continued to defend the animal. He says, "Main pagal hun, tumhe main pagal dikhaayi de raha hun, unbolte pashu ki seva karni chahiye humesha (Do I look like a madman to you? One should always serve helpless creatures."
Anushka Sharma who has always championed the cause for animals applauded the man and wrote on her Instagram story, "Pagal toh vo hain jo insaniyat nahi samjhein. Aap toh..(Mad are those who don¡¯t understand humanity, you on the other hand¡)."
Anushka Sharma had shared a message to people who have been abandoning their pets in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"These migrant workers are walking on the Mumbai Nasik Highway along with their belongings. So next time when you think to give up your pet who you 'loved like your own child' just remember this picture", she wrote on Instagram.
Anushka Sharma is known to be an animal lover. She had started a campaign called #JusticeForAnimals in 2019 to demand stricter punishment against animal cruelty.
