He was singing Ramta Jogi song from Taal when he paused and respond to the fan. He told the fan that this was not the right place for that song as people came there for a concert and not for a protest. "They have come here to listen to me. That's my job, right? That is my heart, that one you are saying. Not the right time, right place," he added.
Furthermore, he suggested the person in question to gather some people as there were many Bengalis there and go to Kolkata and get on the road to protest. "That song is not monetised. It will never be monetised. It is not copyright. Anybody can use it," he said.
