Gippy Grewal Accuses 'JugJugg Jeeyo' Makers Of Using His Vocals For Song Without Informing Him
Gippy Grewal has accused makers of JugJuggJeeyo of using his vocals for Nach Punjaban song without informing him.
¡°Nobody called me for three months. So I assumed that nobody liked my vocals and they didn¡¯t use it. After seeing the poster for the film, he asked music composer Tanishk Bagchi if his vocals had been used, and Tanishk said ¡®No, it was Dharma¡¯s call¡¯,¡± Gippy Grewal was quoted as saying by the portal Bollywood Hungama during a recent interview.
Abrar had announced on social media that he did not sell the rights to his Nach Punjaban song to any Indian movie makers. He slammed Karan Johar and said that ¡°producers like KJo" should not copy songs and threatened to take legal action. The singer claimed that it was his sixth song that had been copied.
Gippy Greweal also reacted to this and said, ¡°I was stuck. I realised this is Abrar¡¯s song, and they¡¯ve taken his rights¡ªand I¡¯ve grown up listening to him, and I respect him a lot. And I had not signed any agreement, and I got a nice call from Azeemji in Dharma Productions so I signed, and I explained that it¡¯s not about the money, and to please not do this. I don¡¯t understand these things.¡±
