Kangana Ranaut was seen sweeping the floor of Hanuman Garhi Temple in Ayodhya on January 21. The actress reached here for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Mandir yesterday, while a lot of other celebrities have jetted off to Ayodhya today. As the Bollywood actress visited the Hanuman Garhi temple to seek blessings, she also participated in the cleanliness drive.

"I urge everyone to visit and clean their nearby temples," she was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

Kangana was wearing her sunglasses while sweeping the temple floor. This has caught a lot of people's attention. "Heavy makeup, gehne, sunglasses pahan kar Mandir ki saaf safai ka show off ho raha hai," a Twitter user wrote.
"With sunglasses ? Can someone clarify what is she even cleaning? To me it seems already very well cleaned space Maybe she needs to clean her mind if she has! Or can someone spot where is the dust/kachra to clean," said another one. " Goggles laga ke mandir me safai karne se jyada punya milta hai," a third user commented. "Congress ko saaf karti hui," said another one. A fan joked, "Sunglasses pehen k jhaadu maarne ka tarika thoda kazual hai." Another comment read, "Shaadi mein aayi hai ya mandir ki safai karne ? ? Who goes to clean a temple even if its a photo op cleaning exercise wearing that kind of heavy jewellery & sari."

Kangana conducted a hawan and sought blessings from Maharaj Ram Bhadracharya. While talking to ANI, the actress said, "Ayodhya has been decorated like a bride. Bhajans and Yagya are being organised at several places. It feels like we have reached 'Dev Lok'...We cannot say anything about those who do not want to come...It feels really good to be in Ayodhya right now..."
On several Opposition leaders, including Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, former president Sonia Gandhi and CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury, turning down invitations to the Pran Pratishtha event on January 22, Kangana Ranaut said, "Some people with twisted minds have decided against visiting this dham. They are being guided by their ¡®durbuddhi¡¯ (foolishness). We are all awaiting the ¡®Pran Pratishtha¡¯ on January 22, which will usher in Ram Rajya."
