Koffee With Karan 7 Chat Show Host Karan Johar Says He's Still Cursed And Trolled For Nepotism
Nepotism still haunts Karan Johar but he's not bothered anymore.
It was when Karan Johar invited Kangana Ranaut to his controversial chat show Koffee With Karan in 2010 that sparked to a never-ending debate on Nepotism.
Karan Johar, who is all set to be seen hosting the seventh season of Koffee With Karan, had become the topic of discussion ever since Kangana Ranaut dropped the 'N' bomb on his own chat show. The Dhaakad actress called KJo the 'flag-bearer of nepotism.'

Now, the filmmaker, who has launched several star kids in the film industry, has opened up about how he has been haunted by Nepotism and how he has managed to tackle through the never-ending gossips that links him as the creator of the controversial topic.
KJo, who's responsible for launching soon-to-be-mom Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter and among others, has said that nepotism has refused to leave him and he's still abused and trolled for it.
During a recent interview with NDTV, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director said, "It started on this show (Koffee With Karan) and that's never the industry, it's never left social media, by and large, I'm still cursed, trolled, and abused for it. Now I'm not bothered. It went from annoyance to amusement now I'm amused every time. I'm like, 'It's so last season now, like come up with another problem. I mean don't go on and on about nepotism you don't know what the hell it is," KJo stated.
He further said, "So what should I do if I have a child? I should not give them the privilege of what I'm doing? I mean I'm a parent. It'll come naturally. It happens in every business, but that one word just became like a curse in my filmography or my life and I'm living with it. I say that I get nepo spasms now and every time I hear that word. I feel like I get neck pain."
On the professional front, Karan Johar, who had made headlines during his lavish birthday celebrations this, is all set to return with his show Koffee With Karan Season 7. The show is scheduled to hit screens tomorrow, i.e. on July 7, 2022.
On the personal front, Karan Johar is a parent to his two kids Roohi Johar and Yash Johar. He recently went on a two-week long vacation with his mother Hiroo Johar and children to London and after returning to Mumbai, the filmmaker was seen asking Roohi and Yash to greet the PPZ at the airportmin Mumbai. The video was shared by a media person on Instagram.
