¡®It Was About Orgasm Only¡¯, Kriti Sanon Reveals Why Her Mother Disapproved Of Doing Lust Stories
Kriti Sanon who skipped doing Karan Johar's Lust Stories revealed her mother was the one who disapproved of it as she felt the role was just about orgasm.
Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon is enjoying the appreciation for her recently released trailer of Bhediya. In the film, Kriti stars beside Varun Dhawan and one of the latest songs from the film ¡®Thumkeshwari¡¯ has got everyone crushing over Kriti. In a recent conversation, Kriti revealed the reason why her mother disapproved of her acting in Lust Stories.

Kriti¡¯s mom Geeta Sanon did not want her to star in Karan Johar¡¯s short film that featured in the 2018 Netflix anthology, Lust Stories. And the reason will intrigue you.
Kriti explained her mother¡¯s views by expressing to India Today, ¡°It was a short film, not a full-fledged film, so my mother said it was a 20-minute thing about only a female orgasm. ¡®If you doing a 20-minute thing in a full-fledged film, that would make sense¡¯. That was the whole discussion, so I felt like maybe, I shouldn¡¯t.¡±

Her mother explained, ¡°I thought we would not be comfortable seeing her doing such a scene at the beginning of her career. It¡¯s about orgasm, only.¡± Kriti on which added, ¡°I think her problem was more that it was a short film. I don¡¯t think there¡¯s anything wrong, but how it will be made, how it will look, maybe like Karan said, if he had talked to my mother, it would have been alright.¡±

It¡¯s not the first time but in one of Kriti¡¯s appearances on Koffee with Karan, the Luka Chhupi actress has earlier revealed saying no to several roles because her mother didn¡¯t allow for it.
Kriti told Karan back then, ¡°My mom said no to your (Karan Johar) role because she was not comfortable with the nature of the script, given the focus of it was only on sensual scenes. That is why she said better not to do it.¡± The segment in concern was a role eventually played by Kiara Advani saw the female character having an orgasm in front of her family members. The project also starred Vicky Kaushal.

Kriti who also has Adipurush, Ganpath and Shehzada in her kitty also spoke about her habit of seeking permission from her mother. ¡°I come from a middle-class family and for them, controversial themes like these can be a little shocking. But I don¡¯t always ask my mother,¡± she said sitting on Karan¡¯s couch.
