According to reports the man, who threatened to murder the superstar via e-mail has been identified as Dhakad Ram Bishnoi. He was detained by police in Rajasthan on Sunday.
How police managed to nab the culprit?
According to reports, on March 18, Bandra Police Station lodged an FIR and managed to trace the email that originated in Rajasthan with the help of tech-intel.
Mumbai Police shared the information with Jodhpur police, who tracked down Dhakad's location. Bandra and Jodhpur police nabbed Dhakad on Sunday morning.
Indian Express reports suggest that Station House Officer (SHO), Luni police station, Jodhpur Ishwar Chand Pareek revealed that the threat e-mail was sent from Jodhupur.
¡°Mumbai Police forwarded the information to Jodhpur Police. The email was sent by Dhakad Ram, a resident of Siyago ki Dhani in Jodhpur,¡± Ishwar Chand Pareek said.
Not just that, from the SHO's statement, it has also come to light that the accused has even threatened to kill Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala¡¯s father via a separate email.
A case under the Arms Act has been registered against accused Dhakad Ram Bishnoi, who has several criminal cases registered against him.
