Priyanka Chopra Was Bullied In School
Speaking about being bullied in school during an interaction with Alex Cooper on her podcast Call Her Daddy, the actress revealed why was she targeted.
When asked about why she was being bullied, Priyanka Chopra revealed that it was because of a boy.
Girls In US Hurled Racial Slurs At Priyanka
The actress, who is married to American singer-actor Nick Jonas said that those girls just began taking on her and started hurling racial slurs at her.
¡°Like, ¡®I smell curry¡¯, ¡®Ooh I smell curry walking down the hallway¡¯, ¡®I don¡¯t think she had the time to shower'. Nasty, racial things. Then it became just bullying, pushing against lockers, writing something nasty in the bathroom stalls. Things like mean girl stuff that high school is made of,¡± Priyanka was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.
PeeCee also admitted that all those things made her feel inferior.
Priyanka Was Glad To Return To India
The actress further shared that she was raised by her parents with confidence, and that's why she decided to come back to India.
¡°I was like ¡®fu** you America, I am going back to India and I¡¯m glad that I did as it kick-started my whole career,¡± the mother of Malti Marie Chopra Jonas said.
Meanwhile, Priyanka shared some glimpses of her daughter Malti Marie as they had their mother-daughter time in New York.
