From his former girlfriend Katrina Kaif to his wife Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor has cracked jokes at the expense of his co-stars and mostly they have not been appreciated. Ranbir Kapoor apologises for the joke about Alia Bhatt's pregnancy weight gain
Ranbir admitted he has a bad sense of humour which falls flat on his own face
Ranbir Kapoor has now apologised for the joke he made on his wife's weight gain due to pregnancy. At a press conference in Mumbai, Kapoor said, "Firstly, I love my wife with everything I have in my life. It's a joke that didn't turn out to be funny. It wasn't my intention. I spoke to Alia about it later and she laughed it off. But I do have a bad sense of humour and sometimes it falls flat on my own face. So I am sorry if I have hurt anyone about it."
For the uninitiated, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had come together for a YouTube live video along with Ayan Mukerji for their film Brahmastra. When a fan asked them why they are not extensively promoting their movie, Alia says, "If you're asking why we are not failoed everywhere... right now our focus is..."
This is when Ranbir Kapoor interrupts her and says, "well somebody has phailoed." Alia Bhatt looks perplexed at this and Ranbir says, "Joke" and then adds, "in a cute way."
A fan dissed him and said, "That was mean to say that in public or private to his pregnant wife."
Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor was slammed for mocking Anushka Sharma for her anxiety issues. He even pill shamed her in the middle of an interview. As the video surfaced on social media, Kapoor received a lot of flak. Other videos in which he behaved disrespectfully towards Ileana D'Cruz and Katria Kaif have been doing the rounds too.
So much so, that people want to cancel Ranbir Kapoor for his toxic behaviour with his co-stars.
