Redditor points out Shah Rukh Khan's bad acting in a scene, fans agree 'he overacts at times'
A viral Reddit clip from Kal Ho Naa Ho has sparked debate over Shah Rukh Khan's acting, with some fans criticizing his performance as overdramatic. The discussion has reignited debates about whether SRK is the worst at crying on screen.
While many believe Shah Rukh Khan is Bollywood's last true superstar, not everyone agrees that he's the best actor in the country, as his fans often claim. A clip from Kal Ho Naa Ho, one of his most iconic films, is now going viral on Reddit, with one of the users criticising the Badshah of Bollywood for what they consider 'overacting' in a particular scene. Most people agree he "does overact at times".
SRK's worst acting in Kal Ho Naa Ho?
When it rains, it pours. When SRK is bad, he¡¯s actually one of the worst actors I¡¯ve ever seen.

The emotional scene shows Naina (Preity Zinta) feeling heartbroken as she gets to know about Aman's (shah Rukh Khan) marriage. While Aman confesses to his mother that he loves her, but at the same time he is emotional about his cancer treatment, which he cannot disclose to Naina. People think that Shah Rukh Khan's "crying was so overdramatic" that they hate "the way he tries to make his voice husky and say hmm hmm and all."

Another user said that he might be bad but he did made him cry. "I watched KHNH in cinema back then. He was bad, like real bad in many scenes, especially comedy. Yes, we were an ignorant audience back then, but this was the time when modern met classic, and it felt odd in scenes like these. Where he made me cry was the final dying scene. That's why he is the King. Nobody calls him the King of Comedy, yet he is the King Khan. He may fail 9 times out of 10, but the 1 time he touches your soul, you carry that till the end of your life."

Earlier as well, a Reddit post had called him the worst cryer pointing out a couple of scenes from his last release Dunki, a film by Rajkumar Hirani. "SRK can't act subtly anymore because he can't let go of the star in him. It's mostly because of constantly surrounded by yes men and no one had the courage to criticise him at all," said a user.
