Urmila Matondkar Hits Back At Kangana Ranaut, Challenges Her To Share 'List Of Names' With NCB

The tiff that had seemingly fazed away is gaining momentum once again. Kangana Ranaut and Urmila Matondkar once again got embroiled in a Twitter spat and there were fireworks from both ends.

This time, it began after reports started doing the rounds that Matondkar has purchased an office for over Rs 3 crore "weeks after joining Shiv Sena".

Sharing a screenshot of this news, Ranaut took a potshot at Matondkar for being "smart" enough to maintain good relations with her former political party Congress.

For the unversed, Matondkar had joined Shiv Sena recently. Soon after, she lost to Mumbai's North election seat to BJP's Gopal Shetty by a margin of over 4.65 lakh votes.

In response to Kangana's allegations, Matondkar released a video, in which she challenged to meet her to see all her property documents.

"Namashkar Kangana Ji. The high regards that you have for me, I have heard them. The whole country has heard them. Today, in front of the entire country, I want to tell you, that you should choose the place and time, I will bring all my documents there. In 2011, after working hard in the industry for a short span of 25-30 years, I purchased a house in Andheri. I will bring the documents of that flat.

"I sold that house in the first week of March and I will bring those papers too. And there will also be documents of the house that I have now purchased from the money that I got. I bought this flat much before I entered politics. I wanted to show you that," she said in the video.

Matondkar also asked the actor to present a list of people from the industry, who she had claimed were involved in drugs.

"You had promised them (the government) that you have names of several people you wish to give to the Narcotics Control Bureau to fight the drug menace. I request you to please bring that list. I''ll be waiting for your answer," she added.

Matondkar had recently taken a dig at Ranaut after she called Mumbai her beloved city.

"Bainchya dokyavar apaghat jhala aahe ka ho bhau...", she tweeted, which translates to "Sister, have you fallen on your head recently?"

Ranaut, who returned to the city, along with her sister Rangoli, offered prayers at Mumba Devi and Shri Siddhivinayak temple. Soon after, she tweeted, "The amount of hostility I faced for standing up for my beloved city Mumbai baffled me, today I went to Mumba devi and Shri Siddhivinayak ji and got their blessings, I feel protected, loved and welcomed. Jai Hind Jai Maharashtra."
