Vivek Agnihotri Takes A Dig At Karan Johar For Leaving Twitter, Says ¡°Quitters Never Win. Winners Never Quit¡±
As Karan Johar quits Twitter, Vivek Agnihotri takes another dig at him quoting, "Winners never quit and quitters never win."
Filmmaker Karan Johar recently announced that he is quitting his presence on micro-blogging site Twitter and that he is making space for more positive energies. Soon after his announcement, he received mixed reactions from netizens. And the reaction that made it to headlines were from director Vivek Agnihotri who took a dig at Karan¡¯s decision.
In his announcement on Twitter, Karan wrote:
With nearly two million active followers on the site that he deactivated, Karan continues to be active on Facebook and Instagram. This fact didn¡¯t go well with Vivek and he expressed that if someone seeks positive energies, then they need to quit social media completely, and not just Twitter. Vivek tweeted,
I believe a genuine person seeking positive energies would leave Social Media completely. Leaving only Twitter because it doesn¡¯t allow hypocrisy or fakeness but staying on Instagram because it gets brands and allows fakeness itself is a negative and screwed up approach to life. https://t.co/oNfwCDO8Nu

Karan isn¡¯t new to online criticism
This is not the first time that Karan got brutally heavy on online trolls. The one in larger notice was him getting bashed post the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020. He faced the heat for allegedly promoting nepotism in Bollywood which even led to personal attacks on him. In a recent episode of Koffee with Karan, Johar even opened up on the impacts of trolls on him.
This is not the first time Vivek has called out Karan
On being asked about his presence on Koffee with Karan, Vivek Anihotri said, ¡°I wouldn¡¯t go because I have nothing to contribute. I mean, I cannot talk, I¡¯m more than middle-aged now. I have two kids. So I¡¯m not¡ Sex is not the primary concern of my life. And I¡¯ll feel odd sitting over there because it¡¯s so artificial¡ I am very spiritual, I am not a very sex-centred person, though I enjoy it with my wife. But I am not a¡ It¡¯s not that my life revolves around only sex and who¡¯s ditching who¡ and who¡¯s sleeping around with who¡±.
¡°I think it is a bulls**t programme also, because¡ what is it doing? Nobody relates with it, you¡¯re doing it only for your inner circle, for your friends and just to make each other happy, and some channels are paying for it. And people can see that this is a problem, you know. So if people get upset with all these news anchors who are screaming unnecessarily, then I think the both of them are exchanging notes. There is no difference between them¡±, the Kashmir Files director added.
