Fans Vow To Not Watch DC Movies After Henry Cavill Shares Note On Being Dropped As Superman
Angry at Henry Cavill being dropped as Superman, fans are angry and have vowed to not watch any DC movies. Some of the fans are emotionally bidding him goodbye.
In a very emotional and heartbreaking note, Henry Cavill announced that he won't be returning as Superman. This comes months after he announced, "I wanted to make it official¡ªI am back as Superman".
This also comes after he announced that he is passing his sword to Liam Hemsworth in The Witcher season 4.
He said that he had a conversation with new DC boss James Gunn and Peter Safran, and he won't be returning as Superman. "I will, after all, not be returning as Superman".
In the note, he wrote, "I have just had a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran and it's sad news, everyone. I will, after all, not be returning as Superman. After being told by the studio to announce my return back in October, prior to their hire, this news isn't the easiest, but that's life.

"The changing of the guard is something that happens. I respect that. James and Peter have a universe to build. I wish them and all involved with the new universe the best of luck, and the happiest of fortunes.
"For those who have been by my side through the years we can mourn for a bit, but then we must remember.... Superman is still around. Everything he stands for still exists, and the examples he sets for us are still there! My turn to wear the cape has passed, but what Superman stands for never will. It's been a fun ride with you all, onwards and upwards."
Some fans were emotional and paid tribute to Cavill.
"You were an incredible superman, Henry, and your version was the basis on my take on the character in the comics. Here's to your next Adventure! Long live Superman!".

And then there were others who were quite angry at this and vowed to not watch DC movies hereon.
"That is disappointing, you were my favorite actor to see, ever since Monte Cristo. No Witcher, No Superman! Just why!? Another change, just to make them (DC) get more money. I'm done with DC, done with Marvel. Going back to reading books."
