1. Dhanush said ¡®Do you have any shame at all?¡¯ over Nayan-Vignesh relationship

Dhanush produced a movie titled Naanum Rowdy Dhaan which starred Nayanthara in the lead and was directed by Vignesh Shivan. It was during the filming of this romantic saga that Nayan and Vignesh fell in love. Radhika Sarathkumar who played a key role in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan appeared during the docu-film and revealed Dhanush¡¯s reaction.

Radhika was heard saying, ¡°It was Dhanush who called me and said, ¡®Sister, do you have any shame at all? I was like, ¡®What is he saying?¡¯ He asked, ¡®Aren¡¯t you aware of what¡¯s happening? Don¡¯t you know that Wikki and Nayan are dating?¡¯ I said, ¡®What the hell are you saying? I knew nothing.'¡±

2. When Nayanthara faced massive uproar for playing Sita

During one of the segments in Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, the actress revealed that several media outlets triggered a mass uproar against her after it was announced that she would be playing the character of goddess Sita in Sri Rama Rajyam (2011). While her producers were pressurised to replace her in this Balakrishna-led film, they stood by her and the movie became a huge success.

Nayanthara revealed that despite staying in luxury hotels, she chose to eat pure meals and quit non-veg in honour of her holy character. ¡°I still remember breaking down on the last day of the shoot, unleashing all the pressure I had bottled up,¡± a part of her confession heard.

3. Nayanthara admitted that her ex-lover wanted her to quit acting

It was during the filming of this movie itself that Nayanthara was going through an all-time low both personally and professionally. She was in a public relationship with Prabhu Deva which began on the sets of Villu (2008) and was highly controversial because the man was already married to his wife Latha. The Lady superstar without naming him revealed she thought her career was ending.

"Sri Rama Rajyam was an emotional film for me, and I decided it would be my last. The person I was in love with asked me to stop working after that film. I was already dealing with so much pressure from the man I wanted to marry regarding my career. Those two years were the most painful of my life¡±, Nayanthara shared.

4. Nagarjuna doubles down on Nayanthara¡¯s turbulent relationship

Nagarjuna who worked with the actress on Telugu film Boss (2006) recalled one of their shooting days in Switzerland where she was going through a very turbulent time in her relationship. He shared, ¡°We would all dread her phone ringing. If the phone rang, this girl's mood would just come down. She would just turn off. I remember asking her, why are you doing this to yourself?¡±
