Neetu Kapoor said that she doesn't like when anyone is upset and that she will host a special reception only for him.
Neetu Kapoor is not one to mince her words and is often making headlines for her hilarious and witty exchanges with the paps. From amicably confirming her son, Ranbir Kapoor's wedding, to telling the paps that all the ceremonies are done and they must now 'sleep peacefully', Neetu Kapoor regularly interacted with the paps when the wedding festivities were on.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot on April 14 in a small and intimate ceremony, attended only by close friends and family.
After the wedding, it was reported that a certain paparazzo has said that he is upset with the couple as they had not planned to host a wedding reception. Neetu Kapoor was asked about her reaction to the comment in a recent interview.
While speaking to India Today, Neetu Kapoor said that she doesn't like when anyone is upset and that she will host a special reception only for him.
She said, "I don¡¯t like it when anyone is upset. I will host a special reception only for him and have him on stage also, but I don¡¯t want him to be unhappy. This was just a quick wedding and hence we couldn¡¯t do much. If it was left to me, I would have done it with grandeur and called everyone."
Alia had shared the wedding pictures on Instagram and captioned the photos, "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home ¡ in our favourite spot - the balcony we¡¯ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can¡¯t wait to build more memories together ¡ memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia."
On Wedding Reception

Missing Rishi Kapoor
Neetu Kapoor had also made it a point that her late husband and actor Rishi Kapoor is a part of his son's wedding, in a symbolic way. She featured the late actor's name in her mehendi design and made headlines. Neetu had shared a glimpse of her Mehendi design on her Instagram story.
Ranbir and Alia began dating in 2017, when they began shooting for Brahmastra. The film is all set to release in September this year.
