Here is a list of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movies. From Pathaan, Lion, Dunki, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Laal Singh Chaddha to Brahmastra, Tiger 3, Operation Khukhri and a Karan Johar Movie, here is all you need to know about his forthcoming films in which he will reclaim his throne.
It has been four long years since we saw Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen. His last three films - Zero, Jab Harry Met Sejal and Fan were duds. While everyone thought that his time as the Badshah of Bollywood was over, and it was time for his children Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan who are already gearing up for their Bollywood debuts to take over, the king of hearts proved yet again, "Bade bade sheheron mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hain, se?orita."

We have all been missing him on the silver screen. Like he said, "Dil toh har kisi ke paas hota hai, lekin sab dilwale nahi hote". SRK is going to make a comeback with a bang. Not one or two or a few films, he will be seen in these 9 movies that will release in 2022 and 2023. Our prayers have been heard - "Kehte hain agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaaho to puri kayanat usey tumse milane ki koshish main lag jaati hai."
SRK fans, hold your horses as your favourite star is gearing up to win your hearts yet again with these below-mentioned movies.
1. Pathaan
For the first time, Shah Rukh Khan will share screen space with John Abraham in Pathaan, a spy thriller that also stars Deepika Padukone. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film which will release in theatres on January 25, 2023, also stars Dimple Kapadia. Pathaan has mostly been shot in Spain and has some high-octane action sequences. Everyone is excited about this one.

2. Lion
Shah Rukh Khan is collaborating with South filmmaker Atlee. Reportedly, he will essay double roles in the film which is tentatively titled Lion. As per Mid Day, "When Atlee first approached the superstar, he had the plot and a few powerful sequences in mind. Now, the complete script is ready. In March, he flew down to Mumbai to give the final narration to Shah Rukh Khan at Mannat. The actor loved it so much that he immediately agreed. The stylised action drama will be jointly backed by Shah Rukh and his good friend Karan Johar." The movie also stars South actress Nayanthara.

3. Dunki
For this one, SRK is collaborating with ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and fans are quite excited about it. Titled Dunki, the movie is a social comedy based on immigration. Taapsee Pannu is the lead actress in the film, which will be released on Dec 22, 2023.

4. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect
In this R Madhavan starrer movie about Indian scientist and aerospace engineer S. Nambi Narayanan, who is known for introducing liquid fuel rocket technology. He was wrongfully arrested by the Kerela Police in sensational ISRO Espionage Case in 1994. The charges were dismissed in 1996 by CBI and he was declared non-guilty in 1998, but it was after 24 years that he received compensation of Rs 50 lakhs recently in September for being kept in prison for 50 days. Reports suggest that SRK will have a cameo in the movie. He will essay the role of a journalist.
5. Laal Singh Chaddha
In this Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer movie, which is a remake of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump, SRK will have a cameo appearance. Shah Rukh will play a character is set in the mid '90s. He would be revisiting his character Raj Malhotra from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. As per Mumbai Mirror, "The screenplay weaves in iconic moments from each decade and since we love our matinee idols, Chaddha¡¯s journey would be incomplete without certain top stars. So, during this journey of self-discovery. Aamir lands on the sets to Shah Rukh around the release of DDLJ and sharing his personal experiences, engages with the wonder world. He¡¯ll go back to 1995 and look like a younger version of himself with the use of prosthetics and VFX".
6. Brahmastra
Hailed as India's first original cinematic universe, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva that stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles is making quite a lot of buzz for it is being said that Shah Rukh Khan has a massive cameo in it. Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly essaying the role of a scientist in the movie. Apart from Mouni Roy will be seen in a negative role in Brahmastra. Dimple Kapadia is also a part of the project.

7. Tiger 3
Once again, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will reunite in this film. SRK will be seen in a special role in Salman's Tiger 3, while Salman will also feature in SRK's Pathan. Salman has confirmed the same.
8. Operation Khukhri
Operation Kukri, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, is a Bollywood war drama based on the mission of Operation Kukri conducted by the Indian Army and the Air Force.
9. Shah Rukh Khan-Karan Johar Movie
Shahrukh Khan Karan Johar's upcoming untitled project will be an action romance. As per the reports, Priyanka Chopra will be also seen alongside king khan in Karan Johar's next.
Apart from these movies, Shah Rukh Khan is also working on Hey Ram remake and a project on bonded labour and migration. SRK, however, will not star in these projects.
Kamal Haasan has confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan has bought the rights of his 2000 movie Hey Ram. Written and directed by Haasan, the movie is based on political unrest that followed Nathuram Godse¡¯s assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. While it is not confirmed yet but the grapevine suggests that SRK will star in the movie in the role that Kamal Haasan played.
It is also being said that Shah Rukh Khan has asked his Chak De India director Shimit Amin to helm an upcoming project on bonded labour and migration.
