Allu Arjun To Start Shooting For Pushpa 2 In October; Composer Says, ¡®Chartbusters Are Coming¡¯

In 2021, one film got highly successful in pulling the audiences out of their houses. It was Allu Arjun¡¯s 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. The film moved the cinema business and lit up the theatres after a long time of losses. Directed by Sukumar, this film and its buzz still surrounds everyone making them crave even more for its sequel.

As per the recent developments, it is being reported that this Rashmika Mandanna starrer sequel named Pushpa: The Rule will go on floors in October. ¡°Allu Arjun will start shooting for Pushpa 2 in mid-October and his new look will be out soon. The star has been preparing for Pushpa 2,¡± shared an insider. Recently, Allu Arjun was honoured at SIIMA 2022 for his performance in Pushpa.

Rashmika Mandanna, the leading lady opposite Allu, is currently busy promoting her upcoming Hindi debut film, Goodbye. At the trailer launch of Goodbye, the actor shared that she would be starting the shoot ¡°in a couple of days.¡± In a recent chat with Siddharth Kannan, Rashmika spoke about the success of the film and said, ¡°After one, even two and three months (post the film¡¯s release), people kept messaging us. We didn¡¯t anticipate the madness of the film, but we knew that we had done something right.¡±

Pushpa's music composer is determined to give another chartbuster album!

Parallelly, the film got popular for its music as well. Songs like ¡°Srivalli¡±, ¡°Oo Antava¡± and ¡°Saami Saami¡± went global and most of whose credit goes to its music composer Devi Sri Prasad, popularly known as DSP. He was now quoted saying that ¡®chartbusters are coming.¡¯ In an interview with Indian Express, DSP said that work on the music of Pushpa 2 is going full steam ahead. ¡°I have already started working on Pushpa 2, little of it we had already done while doing part one. We now properly sat on the dialogue version. We also went to Europe recently and have almost finished three songs.¡±

He further added, ¡°Rest of the songs are being worked upon. They are also going to start the main shoot now. We are sincerely trying our best, and I believe that will always save you. You should also not overdo; the right thing is to know how not to do the wrong thing¡±

This Telugu action drama went on to become a global hit despite stiff competition from biggies like Spider-Man No Way Home and Bollywood¡¯s cricket drama 83, led by Ranveer Singh.
