Allu Arjun fan dies during Pushpa 2 screening

Pushpa 2 is playing to packed houses across the globe and has emerged as a blockbuster. The film is now in the limelight because of a sad reason. According to a report carried by Hindustan Times, a 35-year-old Allu Arjun fan was found dead in a theatre in Andhra Pradesh. The tragedy took place after the matinee show of Pushpa 2.

Ravi Babu, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), told PTI that the individual attended the 2:30 pm show of Pushpa 2 in an intoxicated state and was found dead around 6 pm by the theatre¡¯s staff. He also revealed that the deceased fan had a history of alcohol addiction as a father of four.

This comes less than a week after a woman died following a stampede at the premiere of Pushpa 2 in Hyderabad. A child, assumed to be her son, also suffered injuries during the incident. Allu Arjun had issued a video message about the tragedy. He also apologised to the family of the fan.

What¡¯s Pushpa 2 about?

Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar, is an action drama that revolves around the events that transpire when the titular smuggler reignites his bitter feud with SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil), his biggest foe and an egoistic cop.

The film features Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady and marks her return as Srivalli, Pushpa¡¯s wife The ¡®National Crush¡¯ has impressed fans with her work in several emotional scenes from the film and proved to be its surprise package. Pushpa 2 also features Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Sritej , Jagapathi Babu, and Tarak Ponappa in key roles. Sreeleela makes a special appearance in the Kissik song. Devi Sri Prasad, who won a National Award for Pushpa, is the music director. ¡®Rockstar¡¯ is known for his work on films such as Rangasthalam and Yevadu.
