GV Prakash Kumar is in the limelight because of his latest film Kingston, which hit the screens this Friday. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, it earned Rs 82 lakh (nett) on March 9. The figure is lower than the Rs 1.22 crore it made on March 8.

The film¡¯s total collection stands at Rs 2.94 crore. Kingston has received mixed reviews, with critics praising GV Prakash Kumar¡¯s performance but panning the screenplay. The middling word-of-mouth is one of the major reasons behind these underwhelming numbers.
