This year, Mumbai's most famous Ganapati, Lalbaughcha Raja will enter its 90 year. The first Ganesh idol by Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal in Lalbaugh was incepted in 1934.
This year, Ganesh Chaturthi will begin on Tuesday, September 19 this year. The day is observed as the birthday of Lord Ganesha. Ganesh Chaturdashi, also called as Vinayak Chaturdashi or Ganesh Utsav, is an important Hindu festival.

This day is dedicated to Lord Ganesh, who is the god of wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune. Lord Ganesh is known by various names such as - Gajanana, Dhoomraketu, Ekdanta, Vakrtunda, Siddhi Vinayaka etc.
Ganesh Chaturthi, a ten-day festival that starts on the fourth day of the Hindu lunisolar calendar month 'Bhadrapada', will start on September 19 this year. This auspicious ten-day festival starts with 'Chaturthi' and ends on 'Anantha Chaturdashi'.
Ganesh Chaturthi 2023: Date, Time, and Muhurat for Vinayak Chaturdashi Puja
According to the Hindu calendar, Vinayak Chaturdashi 2023 will start on Monday, September 18, at 12:39 PM and end at 8:43 PM on Tuesday, September 19. Moreover, if you look at the Madhyahna Ganesha Puja Muhurat. It will begin at 11:01 AM and will last till 01:28 PM. The duration of the same will be for 02 Hours 27 Min.
