Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 4 Schedule: 10 States To Go To Polls, Key Constituencies And Candidates - Check Details Here

The Lok Sabha 2024 polling schedule was released by the Election Commission of India in March 2024. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, there are 96.8 crore people who can vote. Among them, 1.8 crore are first-time voters. In 12 states of India, there are more women who can vote than men. To conduct the election, there will be 10.5 lakh voting stations set up. About 1.5 crore people will work as polling officials to manage these stations. For voting, 55 lakh electronic machines will be used.

The ongoing polling for the elections takes place over seven phases - April 19 (Friday), April 26 (Friday), May 7 (Tuesday), May 13 (Monday), May 20 (Monday), May 25 (Saturday), and June 1 (Saturday). Phase 4 voting covering 96 seats in 10 states and Union territories (UT) is scheduled for May 13. Results will be announced on June 4 for all 545 constituencies. The states and union territories covered in the fourth phase include - Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir.
