Saif Ali Khan has finally shared the details of the shocking stabbing attack on January 16th, recounting how an intruder attacked him while he tried to protect his family. This comes two days after his discharge from the hospital.
Actor Saif Ali Khan has returned home after undergoing surgery following a shocking stabbing attack at his residence on the early hours of January 16th. In the aftermath of the stabbing, numerous reports had surfaced about the incident, including details about who rushed him to the hospital, his journey in an auto, and the search for the driver. Now, the actor has provided a statement to the police, unveiling the chilling account of what truly transpired on that fateful day.
What exactly happened in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing incident
On Thursday, two days after being released from the Lilavati hospital, Saif Ali Khan provided his statement to the Bandra Police.
In his account, the actor explained that he and his wife, Kareena Kapoor, were in their bedroom on the 11th floor of the Satguru Sharan building when they were abruptly woken up around 2:30 am by the screams of their younger son Jeh's nanny, Nurse Eliyama Philips.
The couple rushed to Jeh's room, where they found the intruder and witnessed the nanny yelling while Jeh cried in distress.
Saif attempted to stop the intruder and subdue him, but was attacked with a knife.
The intruder stabbed Saif multiple times on his neck, back, and hands.
Despite his injuries, Saif managed to push the intruder into the room as the nanny fled with Jeh.
Saif then locked the assailant inside the room.

Dr. Nitin Dange from Lilavati Hospital had provided a detailed account of Saif Ali Khan's injuries, explaining that the actor sustained three wounds¡ªtwo on his hands and one on the right side of his neck.
However, the most serious injury was located in his back, specifically in the thoracic spine area.
"A sharp object was lodged inside, which has gone very deep, touching the dura and the spinal cord, but it has not damaged the spinal cord," he had said.
