Scientists At Stanford, U.C.L.A, Have Finally Discovered What We've Known For Centuries About 'Deep Breathing'
Please don't call your research on deep breathing new because we Indians have been doing it for ages and very well know it's benefits
New York Times recently published an article named ¡°Why Deep Breathing May Keep Us Calm¡±, that talked about a research done by scientists at Stanford, U.C.L.A and few other universities. A group of scientists did a study on mice to confirm the fact that deep breathing has a calming effect, helps relieve stress and anxiety.

Although the research is fine, the funny part is there is nothing 'NEW' in this because we have known this for years as Indians. Deep breathing is an important part of yoga, also known as ¡®Pranayam¡¯ in Sanskrit. Our ancestors have been doing this for ages in order to live a healthier life.
No one in India is thrilled about this 'Brand New' discovery!
Really? And no mention of pranayama or Yoga? Does it take Stanford researchers with a lab full of mice to tell you what yogis knew aeons ago? https://t.co/Z8FD2b4tLM
