'Mihir Ahammed was like by son'
In a social media post, Musthafa revealed that Ahammed was his nephew and that his death has shattered the family.

Death of Mihir Ahammed
Ahammed, a Class IX student of Global Public School in Ernakulam, died by suicide last month after he was subjected to inhumane bullying at school.
The family of Ahammed had alleged a cover-up by the school management, which even forced his classmates and friends to shut down an Instagram account demanding justice for him.
Unspeakable cruelty to a teenager
"The evidence we gathered paints a chilling picture. Mihir was beaten, verbally abused, and forced to endure unimaginable humiliation, even on his last day. He was forcibly taken to the washroom, made to lick a toilet seat, and had his head pushed into the toilet while it was flushed," Musthafa noted.
Rahul Gandhi calls for accountability
Earlier, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, had also demanded that those responsible for the teenager's death should be held accountable.
