After Phase 4, there are three more phases of voting remaining: Phase 5 on May 20, Phase 6 on May 25, and Phase 7 on June 1.
Which states will vote in Phase 4 of Lok Sabha Election 2024?
In this round of voting, Andhra Pradesh (25 seats), Telangana (17 seats), Uttar Pradesh (13 seats), Maharashtra (11 seats), Madhya Pradesh (8 seats), West Bengal (8 seats), Bihar (5 seats), Odisha (4 seats), and Jammu and Kashmir (1 seat) will participate in the polls.
Here's the breakdown of constituencies by state:
- Andhra Pradesh: All 25 constituencies in the southern coastal state
- Telangana: All 17 constituencies in the southern state
- Jharkhand: Four out of the eastern state's 14 constituencies
- Odisha: Four out of the eastern state's 21 constituencies
- Uttar Pradesh: Thirteen out of the northern state's 80 constituencies
- Madhya Pradesh: Eight out of the central state's 29 constituencies
- Bihar: Five out of the eastern state's 40 constituencies
- Maharashtra: Eleven out of the western state's 48 constituencies
- West Bengal: Eight out of the eastern state's 42 constituencies
- Jammu and Kashmir: One out of the union territory's five constituencies

In Andhra Pradesh, voters will also cast their votes to elect representatives for the 175-member State Assembly. Additionally, 28 Legislative Assembly seats in Odisha will also go to the polls on Monday.

Who are the contenders in Phase 4 of voting?
In Phase 4 of the voting, notable contenders include Union Minister and BJP leader Giriraj Singh (Baharampur, West Bengal), SP¡¯s Akhilesh Yadav (Kannauj, UP), Congress¡¯ Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary and TMC's Mahua Moitra (Krishnanagar, West Bengal.)
Additionally, other prominent candidates are Madhavi Latha from Hyderabad, Telangana; Bandi Sanjay Kumar from Karimnagar, Telangana; Giriraj Singh from Begusarai, Bihar; Y S Sharmila from Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh; Arjun Munda from Khunti, Jharkhand; Shatrughan Sinha from Asansol, West Bengal; and Yusuf Pathan from Baharampur, West Bengal.
