In his post, Tendulkar expressed profound awe at the natural marvel, emphasizing the lineage of Junabai, a renowned tigress within the reserve, her cub Veera, and Veera's adorable cubs. "Celebrating National Tourism Day with a roar! In Tadoba, I have seen 3 generations of tigers - Junabai, her cub Veera, and then recently Veera's cubs. It's a surreal experience! With community participation and responsible tourism, there are many places to explore in India," Tendulkar wrote.

Predatory tiger 'WYS 9' captured in Kerala's Wayanad district
Amidst repeated incidents of wild animals encroaching into inhabited areas in Kerala's Wayanad district, a male tiger was discovered trapped in a cage on an estate on Saturday.
A Wildlife official told PTI that the caged tiger, identified as 'WYS 9,' was responsible for attacking and killing domestic animals in the region.
He said 'WYS 9' is among a series of numbers given to the animals for identification during their recent census.
The tiger, approximately 11 years old, had been causing concern due to its recent predatory behaviour. Following the discovery, it was shifted to a nearby hospital-cum-welfare centre for examination and potential treatment.
