However, Klaasen wasn't the sole architect of SRH's triumph. Despite the early dismissal of his opening partner Mayank Agarwal (11), Travis Head showcased his batting prowess by hammering 62 runs off just 24 balls, comprising nine boundaries and three sixes. Abhishek Sharma also played a pivotal role, contributing a rapid 63 off 23 deliveries, laced with three fours and seven sixes. Former SRH skipper Aiden Markram offered solid support to Klaasen, remaining unbeaten with a valuable 42 off 28 balls.
In pursuit of a daunting target of 278, Mumbai Indians fell short, managing only 246/5 in their 20 overs, with Tilak Varma top-scoring with 64 runs. SRH's bowling duo of Jaydev Unadkat and Pat Cummins starred with two wickets each. The victory marked SRH's first win of the season, following their defeat to KKR in the opening match.
