The record for the world's tallest ice cream cone was set in 2015 by Hennig-Olsen, a renowned ice cream firm in Norway. According to Guinness World Records, this gigantic cone weighed nearly a tonne and could hold 1,080 liters of ice cream. The video shared on Instagram recently revealed the fascinating process behind building this massive cone, which involved using a steel structure to support its enormous size. The team at Hennig-Olsen meticulously whipped up the cream to fill this colossal cone.

One of the most interesting aspects of this record-setting attempt was the transportation method used to move the gigantic cone. Rather than using a car or truck, the company chose to airlift the cone from their ice cream factory to the display area using a helicopter. This spectacle was a highlight for many onlookers as they watched the enormous ice cream cone take to the skies.

Once the record was set, the team at Hennig-Olsen didn't let the ice cream go to waste. The ice cream was scooped using a scale and distributed to the locals, providing a delightful treat for everyone present. Paal Hannig-Olsen, a third-generation family member in charge of the ice company, was also pleased with the achievement. He mentioned that they provided hundreds of portions of ice cream to Norway¡¯s ice cream enthusiasts, creating a fantastic atmosphere. He stated, ¡°The mood was excellent, and it was wonderful to be able to experience such a big ice cream event with everyone there.¡±
