According to The Wall Street Journal, 94-year-old Warren Buffett had delayed announcing his successor, as he was looking for someone who could manage his ?8.2 trillion corporate asset group in a manner close to his own stewardship.
However, back in 2011, Buffett told CBS News that he would like his son Howard to succeed him as Berkshire Hathaway's non-executive chairman.
