India were trailing by 484 runs in the first innings and Sachin's knock did give them a bit of fight in the second innings. Late on the fourth day, the moment came and the crowd stood as one to give him a standing ovation.
He finished with 111 not out in 241 balls. The innings contained 13 fours and a six. India lost by an innings and 25 runs but the Master Blaster yet again stood tall among the ruins.
