IPL 2025: GT pacer Arshad Khan slips twice, crashes to the ground vs LSG; leaves fans concerned

While the clash between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) isn't crucial¡ªsince the four Playoff spots are already secured¡ªthis game could help GT seal a Top 2 finish in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

However, GT pacer Arshad Khan slipped twice and suffered nasty falls during the 2nd over at the Narendra Modi Stadium. He first fell while delivering his opening ball, and then again on his fifth delivery.

What happened?

Arshad Khan slipped while landing after his jump, missing the spikes and landing on the side of his boot, which caused him to slide and fall. Thankfully, he avoided knee damage, though the impact on his left shoulder left him in pain. The physio rushed in, and while Arshad initially looked set to walk off, he stayed on after being told it wasn't serious.

Moments later, he slipped again in the same over. The physio returned for another check. Groundsmen scraped the area and added sawdust near the landing spot, with a few GT players helping out. Arshad was soon back with the ball in hand and appeared fit to continue.
