BenQ W2720i AI Home Projector: The W2720i, marketed as the first AI-powered home theatre projector in the world, was introduced by BenQ in India. This state-of-the-art gadget, which costs lakhs, provides a breathtaking visual experience with its True 4K UHD resolution of 8.3 million pixels and compatibility with HDR10+ and HLG codecs.
Through the revolutionary Cinema Mode, its integrated camera sensors allow for real-time ambient brightness adjustments and scene-specific improvements. Audiophiles would appreciate the dual 5W speakers and Dolby Atmos support.
The W2720i, which runs on Android TV with built-in Chromecast, offers easy access to streaming services like Disney+, Netflix, and Prime Video. The 2,500 ANSI lumen bulb that powers the BenQ W2720i can produce 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) at 60 Hz and 16:9 aspect ratio. Video formats, including HDR10+, HDR-Pro, and HLG, are supported.
According to the manufacturer, it boasts a 1.3x zoom capability for further versatility and can project up to a 120-inch screen from 2.7 meters away. The Auto Screen Fit automatically adjusts the image to the screen size, while the 8-point Corner Fit function allows users to alter the picture's corner fit manually. A feature called Vertical Lens Shift helps with that.
The projector's Android TV OS allows it to stream media from well-known over-the-top (OTT) apps, including Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. Features like the AI Cinema Mode, which is said to adjust colours according to the scene and ambient of the image, improve the BenQ W2720i's video quality. In the meantime, HDR post-processing is removed in the Filmmaker mode to provide the image as the filmmaker intended.
According to BenQ, the projector includes sophisticated colour temperature tuning that offers 11 different levels of white balance management. Global and local contrast enhancers, adaptive ambient management, and smart scene improvement are further elements that improve videos.
Additionally, it has two 5W speakers that enable Dolby Atmos. The BenQ W2720i has a 3.5mm audio out jack, USB Type-A, USB Type Mini-B, and HDMI 2.1 as connectivity options.
