Flipkart Says It Will Create 70,000 Jobs For Coming Festive Sale Season
Flipkart has revealed that direct job opportunities include delivery personnel, pickers, people at the packaging facility as well as sorters. It also aims to help facilitate lakhs of indirect employments with the increase in demand at the sellers as well as partner¡¯s locations.
Ever since COVID-19 has made our lives hell, nothing has been the same. Many people have lost their jobs due to the novel coronavirus, including several businesses to suffer. Even though vacancies have started to pick up, the demand is way more than the supply.
However, amidst all this, Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart has announced its annual Big Billion Days sale where it is known to offer cut-throat deals and prices for some of the most demanded products. And with this Flipkart has also revealed that the sale will help generate 70,000 direct and lakhs of indirect seasonal jobs in the nation.

They also revealed that they¡¯re bringing on board over 50,000 grocery stores for last-mile delivery which will support the loads during the festive season.
Training has commenced
People who have been recently hired by the e-commerce giant are now undergoing training programs through classroom and online training to make them ready for the festive season. The workforce that has been recently hired includes customer service, delivery, installation etc. For its seller partners, it is offering training for warehouse management, packaging etc.
