Adorable Dog With No Formal Training Helps Little Girl Keep A Lookout So She Can Watch TV
Thousands of migrating birds have inexplicably died in south-western US in what ornithologists have described as a national tragedy.
As kids, we've all sneakily tried to watch TV instead of completing our assignments, but we'd always run the risk of getting caught and yelled at by our parents. But this little girl in China seems to have all of that covered, thanks to her super-smart pet German Shepherd named Nuomi.
According to a video shared by South China morning post, the dog has had no formal training but seems to be extremely smart when it comes to understanding commands.
The pooch is the little girl's partner in crime who keeps an eye for - in all likelihood - her father, while she watches TV at home.
When he hears footsteps, Nuomi barks and signals immediately. A video of their collaboration has gone viral in China, bringing the pair almost 4.5 million likes on the country¡¯s social media.

Nuomi has always been a helpful dog, he even receives home deliveries. The South China Morning Post quoted a surprised delivery guy as saying that he never expected a dog to open the door for the package. He says, 'I was so terrified that I didn't even have time to take the receipt'.
Nuomi's owner even took him to the delivery guy and the dog instantly recognised him.
According to the report, Nuomi's parents were retired police dogs and he was adopted four years ago.
