Fortnite has made a grand return to iOS devices after five long years. Epic Games have won the battle against Apple regarding in-game payment system, granting them permission to return to the Apple App Store in the United States.
After five-long years, Epic Games¡¯ battle-royale game, Fortnite, is finally back on iOS devices in the United States. Due to a legal dispute between the developer and Apple, the game was removed back in 2020. Epic Games added an in-game payment system in Fortnite that violated Apple¡¯s rules.
However, a court ruled for Epic Games against Apple, preventing the latter from taking any form of compensation from purchases made outside of the Apple Store app.
