Why did 10-year-old Jaspreet turn to selling rolls?

While conversing with Sarabjeet Singh (Instagram/@mrsinghfoodhunter) who was recording the video, the 10-year-old revealed his heartbreaking life story.
His father used to run the stall in Delhi until he breathed his last after a battle with Tuberculous meningitis (TBM). With his mother having gone back to Punjab, 10-year-old Jaspreet took the helm. He and his 14-year-old sister currently live in the city with their uncle.
The video was captioned: "10 ??? ?? ???? ??? ??? ??? Zimedariyo ?? ????." The caption further reveals the location of the stall which is near "Tilak Vihar Police station, Opp. Sunny juice, Tilak Nagar, West Delhi."

So how does he find the will to keep going? "I am the son of Guru Gobind Singh ji. Will fight as long as I have the strength," the boy responded in Punjabi.
Jaspreet, who was taught how to cook by his father, proudly sells a variety of rolls including chicken roll, chowmein rolls and various others.

After being shared on Instagram on April 28, the video raked in 9 million views, 9.59 lakh likes and heartwarming comments to match.
"God bless you little one," wrote one user. "Waheguru ji always bless you beta," added another, while a third commented "God bless you and your sister ???? may you shine bright in future, u have lotss of blessings ??????you will go through all this and make it happen to the top one day."
