He added to his claims, ¡°I am sharing this traumatic incident encountered by me and my sister on the night of 16th May 23. It was around 9:00 PM. My sister and I were returning back home on scooty.¡±
The Incident Took Place In Lakedew Residency, Bangalore
Sanchit and his sister live in Lakedew Residency in Haralur, Bangalore. The society has a set system for how residents are supposed to use the entry gates. While the left side is to be used for entry, the other side of the partition on the right is supposed to be used for exit.
However, on the night of May 16th, the brother and sister decided to use the right gate to enter the society on their scooter, given that the road on the other side was broken and had a chance of skidding, along with the added bonus of less traffic on the right side.
We entered from right side because the road on the left side was broken and there was chance of skidding. Also there was no traffic on the right side. Seeing this an unknown man stopped us and started yelling at us very badly. (4/10)

Sanchit Claims He Tried To Deescalate The Situation But Failed
Seeing them enter from the wrong side of the gate, Subhash Almel stopped the duo and started yelling at them, according to Sanchit's tweet. He allegedly forced the two to reenter society from the right gate and continued to abuse them publicly until Sanchit told her sister to get down from the scooter so that he could take a U-turn and end the squabble.
Since he was continuously misbehaving, I decided not to argue with him and asked my sister to get down and started taking U turn. The moment I started taking U turn, this guy grabbed the handle of my scooty and pushed it aggressively. Both me and my scooty fell down. (6/10)

However, Sanchit¡¯s alleged attempt at peace ended up riling up the man who grabbed the handle of his scooter and yanked it. This caused Sanchit and his scooter to fall. Sanchit claimed, ¡°I stood up in shock and went to talk to the person but he just started punching me on my face, forehead and eyes non-stop. No one came to stop this guy including the society guards. All of a sudden blood came gushing out of my head and nose.¡±
Afterward, Sanchit was rushed to Manipal Hospital in Sarjapur, where he was apparently diagnosed with a rupture above his eyebrow and was recommended to get surgery. Days after the incident, Sanchit has taken the issue to social media and has requested state authorities and police take action against the man.
Can we call Bangalore safe if something like this can happen to you inside your own society in presence of guards and CCTV?@CPBlr @CMofKarnataka @DCPNEBCP @PoliceBangalore @DeccanHerald @BangaloreMirror (13/n)
