Despite Claims Of Fungus Contamination In Amul Lassi, The Company Issues Clarification
In a recent viral video, a pack of Amul lassi was reportedly infected with fungus; the dairy company responded by calling the charges "false."
Amul, India's largest dairy cooperative, was recently mired in controversy after allegations surfaced that one of its most famous products, lassi, was infected with fungus. Amul quickly stated in response to these charges that they were attempting to address consumer concerns and offer accurate information about the quality and safety of their goods.
In reaction to the claim in the viral video, Amul stated that the packets seen in the video exhibited straw hole damage and that liquid was seeping from that side. According to the company, the damage could have been the source of the fungal growth in these packets, and the video maker was most likely aware of this.

I would actually say it's not lassi it is lassi flavoured water.
Another person uploaded the video that started it all, saying, "We trust @Amul_Coop the packet had a hole before he opened and cut it." The creator of this video failed to see the hole.
