In Another Case Of Animal Cruelty, Man Arrested For Roasting A Monitor Lizard Alive In Telangana
The monitor lizard was allegedly caught by the man and then roasted alive. The incident became public knowledge when a video of the same was posted on Instagram. The matter was then brought to the attention of forest officials.
Stories of animal cruelty are no longer rare; they seem to have become an everyday affair. It is appalling to know that people have no empathy or emotions towards another living being and will deliberately put an animal in harm's way.
A latest example of this sad and horrific reality is the inhumane incident of a man roasting a monitor lizard in Telangana.
According to a Times of India report, the bone-chilling event took place in the state's Medak district. The monitor lizard was allegedly caught by the man and then roasted alive. The incident became public knowledge when a video of the same was posted on Instagram. The matter was then brought to the attention of forest officials.

As soon as senior forest officials learned about the video, Medak officials were informed and a search was launched in order to find the accused. The location of the incident was recognised as Edupayala riverbed area.
