Hilarious Tweet Goes Viral: Man Gets Stuck In Bengaluru Traffic, But His Smart Watch Assumes He Is Doing This
In a new peak Bengaluru moment, a man shared how his smartwatch assumed he was cycling while he rode a bike through Bengaluru's stubborn traffic.
Bengaluru traffic is one challenging hurdle every local has to overcome on a daily basis as they make their way to work. It is not a surprise to anyone that every morning the city faces traffic congestion problems, making it almost impossible for anyone to reach work on time. Much like the traffic in Gurgaon, vehicles move on an inch-by-inch basis until they reach their destination.
A Man Gets Stuck In Bengaluru Traffic; His Smartwatch Gets Confused
While humans are well aware of the fact that Bengaluru traffic requires patience and waiting, technology seems to be getting fooled by this peak Bengaluru moment. Twitter user Kawal Oberoi shared his experience of getting stuck in traffic on his way to work one morning.
What was interesting was not the traffic or the man¡¯s miraculous escape from the bottleneck situation, but his smartwatch¡¯s hilarious reaction to the man getting stuck. The technology is made to detect changes in a person¡¯s surroundings and track their movements.
A Man's Smartwatch Assumed He Was Working Out
How bad is Bangalore traffic?

Well, I took a Rapido bike ride and my watch thought I was cycling ???@peakbengaluru pic.twitter.com/fzhx5E8ytY
However, the Bengaluru traffic confused the watch, which began to assume that while Oberoi was stuck in traffic, he was apparently cycling.
He was taking a Rapido bike ride to work that day, but apparently he was working out as he sat behind the driver during the jam.
The smartwatch pop-up read, "It looks like you are working out," along with a suggestion to track his outdoor cycling routine. Why the smartwatch calibrated such an outcome is hard to detect. It could be the slow forward movement of the vehicle that was stuck in Bengaluru traffic, or it could be the man¡¯s rising heart rate as he gets anxious sitting in an endless jam.
This was apparently not the first time a smartwatch had mistaken sitting in Bengaluru traffic for something completely different, explained one user on Twitter. They shared that one time, while they were stuck in a car near Koramangala, their watch turned to sleep mode.
It's better, once it turned to sleep mode while traveling by car near koramangala.

For one user, their smartwatch assumed they had been sitting for far too long and suggested they get up and move a bit.
My smart watch assumes that I have been sitting for too long and asks me to walk about.
