US Man Loses Eye To Cancer & Turns Prosthetic Into 'Flashlight,' Claims It's 'Perfect For Reading In The Dark'

Brian Stanley had to go through a life-altering experience after he lost his eye due to cancer. But this engineer from the US turned his loss into an opportunity to test a gadget he created.
When Brian lost his eye, he did not wear an eye patch or start wearing glasses. He instead created a prosthetic eye that works as a flashlight. He describes himself as a gadget geek and innovator and he now shows off his eye to the public.
The man displays his glowing right eye, which gives out a beam of light, making him appear like a robot or an android in a science fiction movie. The man keeps showcasing his eye on his TikTok and Instagram accounts. He referred to the tech as a "Titanium Skull Lamp", and added that it was "perfect for reading in the dark", probably in addition to helping him navigate dark spaces without needing a lamp or flashlight on his person.
He wrote along with the video, "Progress update First success with the switch I've built into my latest prosthetics! Switched off and on with magnetism. Having control over the device I've made is an important leap towards other more complex goals I have set forth for myself. I still need to refine this method further, but this is a terrific start."

Brian has shared several videos of himself experimenting with different prosthetic eyes. He can be seen using different colours and cutouts to achieve some seriously distinct and eye-catching looks.
There is one which he called the "Cybernetic Sharingan Eyes". Along with the pictures he wrote, "I tried to incorporate some Sharingan designs into my current lens design. I had to work around some restrictions, but despite having to work around that, I think they look freaking rad. This month is a sort of anniversary for my prosthetic eye project. It has officially been 5 years since I first started replicating prosthetic eyes and machining them out of Titanium. It has been a profound and completely unique experience. My process has evolved a lot since then, and I'm hoping in the near future I can further upgrade things."
He even made one named Pokeball eye which definitely looked like a cooler version of Pokeball which lights as an eye.
