Dog That Went Missing Showed Up At Family's Old Home 90 Km Away, Owners Mystified
Story of Cleo, the dog who went missing from her home in Kansas, turned up 90 km away at her owner's old home in Missouri.
A dog went missing and showed up at her old home 60 miles (almost 90 km) away from the new home of the owners. Cleo went missing from her home in Kansas, but a week later she turned up at the front door of the same family¡¯s former home in Lawson, Missouri. And its a ¡®mystery¡¯ to the owners as to how she ended up their and made the journey.
Michael and Britney reached home one day and found a Labrador sitting on their front porch.
"She (Britney) got out of her car and said, 'Where did the dog come from?'" Michael told KMBC.
Even though the four-year-old Labrador felt at ¡®home¡¯, the front porch wasn't hers anymore. In November 2018, Michael had moved into the house and Cleo¡¯s current owners left the place. "She wouldn't let us quite come near her," Michael said.
When he checked her for a microchip he found out that the dog belonged to the former owners of the house.
He reportedly said, "Britney said, 'That's the people that used to live here.'¡±

Cleo's owners had in fact posted about her disappearance on Facebook a week earlier. They were surprised when Michael called them to inform that Cleo was at her old home.
"It's the most bizarre story. Really, she's everything to us and to my mother," Cleo's owner, Drew said.
All believe that it is a ¡®mystery¡¯ how the dog ended up there.

To make way to her old home, Cleo would have had to cross a river. "That's a hike for anybody," Michael said.
However, another theory is that some stranger saw her, and dropped her off at the home, seeing the microchip.
