The illusion was shared on the microblogging website by user @PamelaApostolo1 with the caption, "Depending on how your brain works (left brain, right brain) you see a cat or a moose in this pattern. Whatever animal you see isn¡¯t part of the image, just an optical illusion created by your own brain. If you zoom in on any of the features you see, the illusion disappears."

The two hidden animals in the illusion are said to be a cat, and a moose. We tried our best and it turns out, while people spotted the cat, we were able to see the moose. However, there are many reactions to the post that emphasise on how there is moose to be spotted in the illusion. Some even said that those spotting the cat are left-brained.
However, neither Pamela or others could come up with a justification for which animal was associated with each side of the brain.
"Even with a visual aid laying out both patterns, I still can¡¯t see the moose," a user tweeted.
"I didn¡¯t see either one, I must be brain dead, oh well. Lol," wrote another.
Here are some more reactions:
no shapes, no animals = my brain doesn't work.. bip.

There's no such thing as left or right-brained. I can't believe people still talk about this

Contrary to the rest of the comments, there absolutely is a cat in this picture. I didn't see it at first, but scrolling the picture up and down the screen reveals it. Calling total BS on the left/right brain thing as the creator of this 'illusion' clearly put a cat in it.

I immediately saw a cat, even before I read your info about it. What does that make me?

I only see a cat. Wish someone would outline the moose.

What did you see? The cat or the moose?
