Queen Elizabeth II, who recently passed away, also did the same thing. She wrote a secret letter, and now it is hidden in a vault in Australia and no one can open it for another 63 years.

Late Queen Elizabeth II wrote a letter in November 1986 to the people of Sydney. According to 7NEWS Australia, the letter is hidden inside a vault in a historic building in Sydney. Interestingly, not even the late Queen's personal staff is aware of what the letter says because it is hidden inside a glass case in a secure location. For a fact, it can't be opened until 2085.
The letter is addressed to the Lord Mayor of Sydney with instructions on when to open the letter. The instructions on the letter read, "On a suitable day to be selected by you in the year 2085 A.D, would you please open this envelope and convey to the citizens of Sydney my message to them." The letter is just signed as ¡°Elizabeth R¡±
Queen visited Australia 16 times
For different occasions, the queen visited Australia a total of 16 times in her lifetime. She was the head of the state for Australia. "From her famous first trip to Australia, the only reigning sovereign to ever visit, it was clear Her Majesty held a special place in her heart for Australia," Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of Australia said in a statement.
