Ahead of the release of the film on January 24, Song made her first talk show outing in 23 years on You Quiz on the Block, hosted by Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho. During her rare appearance, she touched upon various personal and professional aspects of her life, opening up about facing hardships and criticism that she has faced over the years.

Song spoke about the malicious rumours that have followed her throughout her career, revealing her approach to dealing with them. She shared that she's become desensitized to the rumors over time, often ignoring them and advising others to ask the source of the rumor for clarification. However, she admitted that it's a different story when her family is targeted, saying that it truly breaks her heart.
"I've been insulted a lot... I¡¯ve been active since I was young, so there have always been small rumors and big rumors about me. I usually let it slide, but sometimes I think, 'Isn't this too much?'"
Song on her philosophy in life and work
The actress said that she's adopted a philosophical approach to life, believing that if something is meant to be, it will happen. She's learned to let go of disappointment and trust that everything will work out, with no regrets about past experiences.

'The present is important': Song Hye Kyo
The Descendants of the Sun star emphasised the importance of living in the present moment. She said that she believes in staying focused and strong in the current moment; she'll be able to navigate her acting career and make the most of the diverse roles she's being offered, ultimately leading to a bright future.
"The present is important. Acting is still difficult, but as I grow older, I¡¯m being offered more diverse roles. I¡¯m learning what to pursue and what to let go of. If I stay strong in the present, I believe I¡¯ll have a bright future.'
Song, who has a great rapport among her co-stars, added that she's grateful for the kindness she receives from her colleagues and peers, who often send her food trucks on the sets. 'Whenever I work on a project, seniors, colleagues, and juniors send me snack trucks. I always try to repay their kindness.'
'I've never thought about being at the top'
Despite being one of the greatest Hallyu stars of all time, the actress has a grounded approach to her career. She said that she is not focusing on being at the top or worrying about her fame fading. Instead, she prioritizes working hard and letting her career unfold naturally, accepting that her time in the spotlight will come to an end when it's meant to.

About Dark Nuns
The upcoming film follows two nuns, Sister Junia (Song Hye Kyo) and Sister Michaela (Jeon Yeo Been), as they attempt to save a young boy named Hee-joon from a powerful evil spirit that has possessed him. As they investigate the mystery, they uncover a dark secret within their convent and must confront their own fears and beliefs in order to save the boy and their order from the evil that threatens to destroy them.
Dark Nuns is slated to release in theaters on January 24, 20245.
