When asked by Melvin if Duncan¡¯s return would follow the original Dune novels (where Duncan is brought back as a clone), Jason cheekily responded, ¡°Well, I¡¯m not sure if I¡¯m going to get in trouble or not, but it¡¯s the same thing like Game of Thrones, you know what I mean?¡± He added, ¡°If you didn¡¯t read the books, it¡¯s not my fault, right? Yeah, there¡¯s going to be ¡­ I¡¯m going to be coming back.¡± Oh, Jason, always keeping us on our toes!

When is Dune 3 releasing?

Dune 3 is set to be based on Frank Herbert¡¯s Dune: Messiah, but don¡¯t expect a typical trilogy structure. According to director Denis Villeneuve, the third film won¡¯t be the completion of a trilogy. He explained that the first two films were part of one massive adaptation of the first book. For Dune 3, Villeneuve is looking to carve out something totally new, distinct, and fresh. In other words, expect the unexpected!
