Passengers Push A Peshawar BRT Bus After It Breaks Down, People Crack Jokes & Shame The Govt
Recently, passengers onboard a Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicle had to get off the vehicle mid-journey and manually push the bus forward after it broke down on the main corridor near the Adbara station on Friday.
Anything that gets on the Internet, stays on it for eternity, so no matter how weird, bizarre or embarrassing it might be, you cannot completely flush it out, even if you want to.
Recently, passengers onboard a Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicle had to get off the vehicle mid-journey and manually push the bus forward after it broke down on the main corridor near the Adbara station, on Friday.
A spokesperson of the TransPeshawar said that engineers and experts were present at several stations for back up.
"A minor fault had occurred on the bus near Abdara station. There are alternate buses in case of an emergency," the spokesperson was quoted by media outlets.

The high-quality bus-based transit system was already surrounded by controversy over corruption allegations and accidents. Adding fuel to the fire, this incident has only made matters worse for the authorities.
Several photos and videos of the passengers pushing the bus have gone viral on social media, giving a chance to people to crack some jokes on the same. Some users mocked the government for being incompetent while others got creative with memes.

According to reports, ever since the project which costed Rs 69 billion was launched on August 13, five Peshawar BRT buses have broken down. This unfortunate incident also led to PTI's political opponents to hop onto the bandwagon and troll the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for failing to provide quality transport buses to the public.
